The annual meeting was held at the Presisi Building of Bali Police Headquarters on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Attendees included Public Relations Section Chiefs from Bali’s regional police and all personnel serving as Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID) within Bali Police Headquarters units.

Bali Police Public Relations Chief Commissioner Ariasandy stated that public relations is no longer merely a supporting function but has transformed into a primary operational function of the Indonesian National Police. In the era of artificial intelligence and information deluge, Bali Police Public Relations is required to act swiftly, responsively, and humanely to shield the digital space from hoaxes and disinformation.

“Optimal media management and positive public communication are key. We must be able to present educational, transparent, and calming information to channel potential public order disturbances in cyberspace before they impact the real world,” said Ariasandi during the meeting’s opening.

The meeting serves as a crucial stepping stone for Bali Police to align police operational plans with central government strategic policies. The primary focus of public relations efforts is to safeguard the President’s Asta Cita Program, particularly in maintaining conducive security stability to ensure the smooth implementation of national food security, energy, and economic growth initiatives.

During the forum, all Bali Police Public Relations personnel were equipped with technical capacity upgrades, media crisis management simulations, and strengthened strategic partnerships with journalists and media personnel across Bali.
