Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) donated 96 sacrificial animals for Eid al-Adha on Wednesday, 27 May 2026, as part of preparations for the 1447 AH celebration. The symbolic handover ceremony was led by Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, accompanied by Deputy Chief Brigadier General I Made Astawa and Chief Commissioner Asep Ahdiatna at Masjid Al-Taqwa, Polda Bali headquarters.

This year’s Eid al-Adha saw a significant number of sacrificial animals collected internally by Polda Bali. The highest-ranking officials symbolically handed them over to the Masjid Al-Taqwa sacrifice committee for immediate slaughter and distribution.

The donation comprises 16 cattle and 29 goats at Masjid AT Taqwa Polda Bali, and 19 cattle and 32 goats from police personnel.

Bali Police Chief stated that the sacrificial ritual is not merely an annual tradition but a moment to cultivate sincerity and compassion towards those in need. ‘This sacrifice symbolises sincerity. We hope the distributed meat not only brings blessings to recipients but also strengthens harmonious ties between Polri and Bali’s society,’ he said.

The animals will be slaughtered following hygiene protocols, with the meat scheduled for immediate distribution to eligible recipients (mustahik), orphanages, and residents around the police headquarters and personnel in need.

Through the spirit of Eid al-Adha, Polda Bali remains committed to embedding values of sacrifice and sincerity in delivering predictive, accountable, transparent, and equitable public service.
