Bali Police conduct risk management assessment at Dipta Stadium

Gianyar, Bali (ANTARA) - Bali Regional Police have conducted a risk management assessment at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar Regency, Bali, to ensure security and safety ahead of the 2026/2027 Super League competition season.

Risk Assessment Team Chairman, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant (AKBP) Kaisar Reman Sambo, in Gianyar, Bali, on Friday, emphasised the assessment aspects, namely stadium suitability, stadium facilities, health, competition activity data and supporters.

During the assessment, the team from Bali Regional Police and Gianyar Resort Police checked the completeness of documents as supporting documentation for the organisation of activities at Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar.

The results of the assessment will subsequently be submitted to Bali Regional Police under the responsibility of the Director of Vital Object Security (Pamobvit) of Bali Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner I Dewa Putu Alit Bintang Julian.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Dipta Stadium Organising Committee, I Ketut Suantika, explained that risk assessment is a process carried out periodically to check the readiness of the location in conducting an official match, taking into account the risk assessment that may occur within it.

He explained that support from the police is one of the main factors in determining the success of official matches at the stadium, which has a capacity of around 18,000 seats.

Dipta Stadium is the home ground of Bali United and frequently hosts national and international tournaments.

In addition to hosting Super League competition matches, the stadium located in Buruan Village, Gianyar Regency, has hosted international events such as the AFC Women’s U17, Indonesian national team matches and other international fixtures.

Furthermore, several matches involving other Super League teams have also been held there, such as Arema FC and PSBS Biak.
