Bali Police Chief Inspects Masceti Post to Ensure Smooth Nyepi-Eid Return Flow
The Head of the Bali Regional Police (Kapolda) Bali, Irjen Daniel Adityajaya, inspected the Masceti Zebra Service Post in Medahan Village, Blahbatuh Subdistrict, Gianyar Regency, on Monday afternoon (23/3/2026). This was to ensure the smooth and secure flow of return traffic for the Holy Day of Nyepi in the Saka 1948 year and Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
During the visit, Daniel was accompanied by the ranks of the Main Officials (PJU) of the Bali Regional Police. Upon arrival at the location, the Kapolda entourage was directly welcomed by the Gianyar Police Chief, AKBP Chandra C. Kesuma, along with his ranks.
The inspection focused on the readiness of personnel and the smoothness of traffic flow after the joint holiday. The Prof Ida Bagus Mantra Bypass road received particular attention as it is the main route connecting Padangbai Port in Karangasem with Denpasar.
At the site, Daniel checked the completeness of operational and administrative facilities at the post. The checks were carried out to ensure optimal service for the public and holiday returnees, including rest facilities.
“Today’s visit by the Kapolda provides motivation for all personnel in the field. In line with his directives, we at the Gianyar Police are committed to providing excellent service, from the completeness of post facilities to traffic engineering management,” said Chandra C. Kesuma.
He also urged returnees to prioritise safety during their journeys. “We urge the public who are on the return journey to continue prioritising safety. If feeling tired or sleepy, do not force yourself. Please utilise the facilities at the Masceti Service Post or the nearest police posts to rest,” he added.
Integrated security for 2026 is a special focus for the police ranks, considering the extended holiday momentum of Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr, which are close together, triggering increased mobility of the public and tourists on the Island of the Gods.
