Bali Nirwana Asia's best course

JAKARTA (JP): Bali Nirwana Golf Resort in Bali was named as Asia's best golf course outclassing other golf courses in China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

The announcement was made by Spencer Robinson of the Asian Golf magazine, the golf course management said in a written statement in which copies were made available to The Jakarta Post on Thursday.

Designed by legendary golf player Greg Norman, the course was also announced as Indonesia's best and Asia's runner-up of par- three seventh hole. (nvn)
