Bali Mandara Toll Road Records Over 20 Million Vehicles in 2025
Denpasar — PT Jasamarga Bali Toll (JBT), operator of Bali’s sole toll road, recorded over 20 million vehicles traversing the Bali Mandara Toll Road in 2025.
“Traffic volume on the Bali Mandara Toll Road reached 20,278,229 vehicles, a 10.67% year-on-year increase from 2024,” said PT JBT’s Director General I Ketut Adiputra Karang.
Adiputra, speaking in Denpasar on Tuesday, added that daily traffic averaged 55,863 vehicles across Benoa, Kuta, and Nusa Dua toll gates, reflecting socio-economic activity in Bali.
This indicates improved operational performance, with Adiputra noting a corresponding rise in financial performance.
During the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST), he reported solid financial achievements with total revenue of Rp216.4 billion.
“This represents a 10.53% increase from the Rp195.8 billion recorded in 2024,” he said.
The operator also recorded a 15.69% rise in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) to Rp157.2 billion.
“This positive trend reflects improved operational profitability driven by effective business strategies, enhanced service quality, and sustained cost efficiencies,” Adiputra said.
In response to high demand in 2025, the company implemented measures such as anticipating traffic surges during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 holidays.
It deployed two additional Automatic Toll Gates (GTO) for Category I vehicles (non-buses) at Benoa Toll Gate from 22 December 2025.
For infrastructure quality, PT JBT conducted intensive asset improvement programmes through strategic initiatives, achieving 100% compliance with Minimum Service Standards (SPM) and a Customer Satisfaction Index of 5.68 out of 6.00.
“We are committed to enhancing sustainable performance, implementing sound corporate governance, and providing seamless connectivity for the nation. For real-time traffic and service updates, the public can contact Jasa Marga’s 24-hour hotline at 133,” he said.
At the 2025 RUPST, PT JBT’s Chairman of the Board Lisye Octaviana attended alongside shareholders including PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero), Bali Provincial Government, Badung Regency Government, PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia, PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk, PT Hutama Karya (Persero), and PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk.
During the meeting, a board position change took place, with Kompyang Raka Swandika’s role as Badung Regency’s representative commissioner replaced by I Wayan Suweta.
“The general meeting appointed Mr I Wayan Suweta as the company’s commissioner representing Badung Regency, effective 1 June 2026,” Adiputra said.
