Bali, Lombok shaken by quake

DENPASAR, Bali: An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook the islands of Bali and Lombok yesterday morning, sending residents on the two islands fleeing from their homes.

As of yesterday afternoon there were no reports of casualties from either Bali or Lombok

The meteorological office in Denpasar said the epicenter of the tremor is estimated to be 120 kilometers southeast of Denpasar at a depth of 123 kilometers. (emb)
