Bali Labour Department Receives 53 Complaints on Eid al-Fitr THR Issues
The Bali Labour and Energy Department has received 53 complaints regarding issues with Eid al-Fitr holiday allowances (THR) for 2026. The complaints were submitted through various channels provided by the department, including the THR hotline. “As of 25 March, the total number of THR complaints is 53 cases,” stated Meirita, Head of the Industrial Relations and Labour Supervision Division at the Bali Labour and Energy Department, on Tuesday (31/3/2026). Meirita detailed that the majority of complaints, 39 cases, came through the Ministry of Manpower, followed by 11 cases via the Hapera Alliance, two cases through the department’s service hotline, and one via email. “All cases are currently being processed by the handling team,” she added. She was unable to specify the sectors from which the complainants primarily originate. As is known, the Bali Labour and Energy Department opens an annual THR complaint hotline for workers whose allowances have not been paid by their employers. The hotline operates from one week before the holiday until one week after. The Head of the Bali Labour and Energy Department, Ida Bagus Setiawan, added that the received complaints are being handled by the THR hotline team. The team will adopt a persuasive approach with employers to ensure workers receive their entitlements. “Several complaints have been received and are in the process of being handled,” he further stated.
