Bali Immigration Chief Receives Award for Supporting Quality Tourism

The Head of the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, Felucia Sengky Ratna, has received the Accelerator Figure Award in the Main Pillar of Quality Bali Tourism category at the detikBali-Nusra Awards 2026. The award was presented during the ceremony at The Trans Resort Bali on Friday (3/7/2026) and was accepted on her behalf by the Head of the Ngurah Rai Class I Immigration Office, Bugie Kurniawan. The accolade was given in appreciation of Felucia’s leadership in strengthening immigration supervision while supporting the realisation of safe, orderly, and quality tourism in Bali. Under her leadership, the Bali Regional Office has intensified its response to various immigration law violations on the Island of the Gods. One of the strategic measures initiated was the formation of the Dharma Dewata Task Force, which routinely conducts patrols in areas with a high concentration of foreign nationals’ activities. The establishment of the Dharma Dewata Task Force reflects Felucia’s commitment to maintaining Bali as a safe and orderly world-class tourist destination. Through cross-agency synergy and active community involvement, immigration supervision focuses not only on enforcement but also prioritises sustainable preventive measures. Furthermore, Felucia has encouraged stronger collaboration between the Bali Regional Office and local government, law enforcement officials, tourism industry players, and the community. This synergy is considered essential for identifying potential issues involving foreign tourists and formulating appropriate prevention and handling measures. Through these efforts, the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration not only functions as a gateway for foreigners but also plays a role in supporting orderly, safe, and quality tourism governance in Bali.
