Bali’s Health Office (Dinkes) has prepared healthcare services for the community during the Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr holiday period in 2026, which runs from 18-24 March 2026.

This measure follows up the Home Ministry Circular Letter Number 400.6/1071/SJ regarding local government preparedness in facing the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah.

Bali’s Health Office Head, I Nyoman Gede Anom, stated that the office has established health posts along several major travel routes during the holiday exodus.

“Health posts along major travel routes will operate 24 hours with the support of medical staff and ambulances to anticipate accidents and emergency cases,” said Gede Anom.

Local authorities have also been instructed to increase preparedness at healthcare facilities, particularly primary health centres (puskesmas), hospitals, and health service posts along routes commonly used by the public during the holiday exodus. This preparedness is implemented to address emergency cases, traffic accidents, and other illnesses, as well as to ensure referral hospitals are ready to provide treatment.

Gede Anom added that the health posts will operate 24 hours using a three-shift system. Each post will be equipped with one doctor, two nurses, and one ambulance driver along with basic examination equipment.

“Equipped with ambulances and healthcare personnel consisting of one doctor, two nurses, and one ambulance driver, as well as facilities including an examination bed, examination equipment, and a consultation desk,” he added.
