Bali governor falls unconscious

DENPASAR, Bali: Bali Governor Made Dewa Beratha suddenly fainted
as he was attending a celebration to mark National Children's Day
at the Ksiarnawa Art Building in Denpasar.

The governor fell unconscious after he answered question from
a student participant at the function. "After answering the last
question, he climbed down from the stage. He then suddenly fell
down," said Bagus.

A number of people quickly carried the governor to an
ambulance, which took him to Sanglah Hospital.

According to doctors at the hospital, the governor was
suffering from exhaustion.

The governor is currently recovering at the hospital. -- JP
