Bali–Dubai Flight Route to Begin Phased Operations
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali announced that international flights on the Dubai route operated by Emirates are beginning to operate again after Dubai International Airport has been gradually reopened. “We can inform that Emirates has flown back one aircraft that had remained overnight at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport since 28 February,” said Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi, Head of Communications and Legal Division at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, as quoted by Antara, on Friday, 6 March 2026. Eka Sandi, in a statement from Denpasar on Friday, said the flight was EK369 bound for Dubai (DBX) on Thursday (5 March) at 00:42 WITA yesterday, using an Airbus A380. The flight marks Emirates’ first service from Denpasar to Dubai since the closure of airspace and the impact of the Middle East conflict between the US-Israel and Iran. The good news continued as international arrivals from Dubai to Denpasar are also back in operation. “As of this afternoon, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport has serviced Emirates’ arrival with flight number EK368 from Dubai, a flight operated on an Airbus A380 that landed in Bali at 16:30 WITA,” said Eka Sandi.
