Bali Community Cares launched

DENPASAR: A non-profit organization, Bali Community Cares, was
launched last Friday to encourage charity, humanitarian and
health activities on Bali.

The organization was established by a number of prominent
people from diverse professional backgrounds.

Bali Community Cares will focus on helping and supporting
governmental agencies, non-government organizations, groups and
other civil-society institutions, particularly those that work in
the fields of health (especially HIV/AIDS) and poverty
alleviation, including providing scholarships for needy children.

Presently, the organization is supporting the Hati-Hati
Foundation, Citra Usadha Indonesia and Bali Nurani Foundation.
