Bali Accelerates: Investors Must Move Faster

Bali continues to develop as a premier investment destination, supported by significant planned infrastructure improvements over recent years. Governor of Bali Wayan Koster has committed to making a total effort to ensure infrastructure and economic strengthening programmes can be implemented across Bali. Healthcare facilities are expanding rapidly, with modern hospitals and internationally-standard medical services increasing investor confidence. International schools and quality education centres are growing across various regions, supporting the needs of expatriate families and global professionals residing in Bali.

Modern shopping centres, commercial zones, and well-maintained public spaces are enhancing quality of life and property appeal. Primary access is supported by I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, which handles domestic and international flights daily. The Central Bureau of Statistics for Bali Province recorded positive trends following economic recovery, with tourist arrivals reaching 2,155,747 in 2022, 5,273,258 in 2023, 6,333,360 in 2024, and a projected 6,948,754 in 2025.

The increasing number of tourists is prompting the government to expand road capacity, improve inter-regional connectivity, and enhance public transportation systems. Toll road projects, main route expansions, and improved access to tourism areas are accelerating mobility for tourists and business operators. Beyond transportation, digital infrastructure is also developing rapidly, with high-speed internet networks supporting business and digital nomad needs.
