Bakrie Group Net Profit Rises 49.6 Percent
PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) recorded net profit of IDR 502.74 billion throughout 2025, rising IDR 166.69 billion or 49.6 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at IDR 336.04 billion.
The company also recorded net revenue of IDR 3.74 trillion in 2025. This net revenue declined 3.28 percent from the previous year which was recorded at IDR 3.87 trillion.
“We are grateful that amid uncertain global economic conditions, the company was able to record positive performance throughout 2025,” said BNBR Financial Director Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti in a written statement on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
Broken down, BNBR’s net revenue came from PT Bakrie Metal Industries Group of IDR 2.18 trillion; PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk Group of IDR 1.08 trillion; and PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure Group of IDR 464.21 billion.
The company recorded revenue from PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) rising 8.5 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at IDR 1 trillion. Roy stated that this increase came from revenue of VKTR Holding, VKTS, and BA Group. He said the revenue increase was driven by the implementation of electric buses, electric commercial vehicles, as well as stable contribution from the automotive components business.
Another BNBR business unit, PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI), recorded revenue of IDR 194.54 billion, or up 28.1 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at IDR 151.88 billion. This increase in SEAPI revenue came from the non-Oil & Gas sector and the Oil & Gas sector.
Subsequently, PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure Group recorded revenue of IDR 464.21 billion, or up 41.6 percent compared to the same period in the previous year which was recorded at IDR 327.93 billion. This increase came from the contribution of revenue from PT Multi Kontrol Nusantara Group, PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways, PT Helio Synar Energy, as well as support from other infrastructure portfolio including pipeline networks as a strategic infrastructure for the transportation of oil and gas.
Next in the construction and EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) industry line, PT Bakrie Construction (BCons) successfully recorded revenue of IDR 171.58 billion, or up 330 percent from the same period in the previous year of IDR 39.9 billion. This revenue increase came from projects carried out by the company.
Meanwhile, PT Bakrie Pipe Industries recorded revenue of IDR 1.76 trillion. This position declined 22.8 percent compared to the previous year which was recorded at IDR 2.29 trillion.
