Jakarta, VIVA – PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) recorded impressive financial performance at the start of 2026. Amid global economic volatility, the company achieved significant growth in revenue, EBITDA, and operating profit throughout the first quarter of 2026.

According to the latest performance report, the company booked revenue of Rp1.13 trillion in the first three months of 2026. This figure represents an increase of 19.02% or Rp181.38 billion compared to the same period the previous year, which stood at Rp953.80 billion.

In line with this, the company’s profitability also showed a sharp surge. EBITDA was recorded at Rp296.44 billion, a 252.43% jump or an increase of Rp212.33 billion from Rp84.11 billion in the first quarter of 2025.

Operating profit also rose significantly by 240.03% to Rp211.96 billion. In the previous year, the company had only managed to book a profit of Rp62.33 billion.

“Amid the extraordinary global economic volatility, alhamdulillah BNBR continues to consistently demonstrate positive financial performance in the first three months of this year, with growth that is commendable,” said BNBR’s President Director & CEO, Anindya Novyan Bakrie, in Jakarta on Thursday, 30 April 2026.

Anindya explained that BNBR’s revenue growth was supported by contributions from several subsidiaries, particularly from PT Cimanggis Cibitung Tollways (CCT), which contributed Rp232.76 billion or 20.5% of total consolidated revenue. CCT’s contribution also served as the main driver for the increase in EBITDA and operating profit.

“The increase in operating profit was also supported by CCT’s contribution of Rp128.6 billion or 77% of BNBR’s total consolidated operating profit,” Anindya stated.

From an operational perspective, BNBR’s Chief Financial Officer, Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti, revealed that CCT’s performance also bolstered the infrastructure business unit through the PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (BIIN) Group. BIIN recorded a significant revenue surge of 274.6% or Rp207.6 billion.

Additionally, growth came from the energy sector through PT Helio Synar Energi (Helio), which recorded a 35.1% revenue increase.

In the electric mobility sector, the PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) Group booked revenue of Rp126.9 billion, up 58.2% year-on-year. This surge was supported by significant growth at the holding level as well as subsidiaries such as PT VKTR Sakti Industries (VKTS).
