Bakom: 'Presiden Solusi' Book Documents Implementation of Prabowo's Promises

The Indonesian Government Communication Agency (Bakom) has stated that the publication of the book titled ‘President Solution’ serves as a documentation that temporarily recapitulates the implementation of a series of campaign promises made by President Prabowo Subianto.

The Head of Bakom, Muhammad Qodari, stated that the ‘President Solution’ book was compiled as a preliminary summary of the implementation of ideas found in the ‘National Transformation Strategy’ book, as well as the realisation of President Prabowo Subianto’s campaign promises.

“This ‘President Solution’ book is essentially a temporary recapitulation of the implementation of the National Transformation Strategy book and the implementation of President Prabowo’s campaign promises,” said Qodari during a book review event titled ‘Quality Book Review: President Solution, Prabowo Subianto’s Problem Solving’ at the Plaza Insan Berprestasi, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education Building, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday.

He noted that the book does not only document the early achievements of President Prabowo’s administration but also serves as part of the government’s communication strategy to socialise various priority programmes to the public.

Qodari explained that the compilation of the book utilised various socialisation materials regarding information on government programmes that had been gathered by his agency. Furthermore, the agency developed the ‘President Solution’ book using a popular approach to ensure it is easily understood by the wider community.

He added that the presentation format has been adjusted to current communication media trends, which rely heavily on visual elements and concise narratives. “That is why the format of this book is written in a popular, contemporary style that adapts to current situations and conditions, making it more or less ‘Instagrammable’,” said Qodari.

He added that as a form of accountability to the public, the book will be continuously updated alongside the progress of government programme implementation. “This book, besides being a temporary accountability measure—meaning it will be revised and updated in the future—also serves as communication material,” Qodari concluded.
