Bahlil States There Will Be Adjustments to Non-Subsidised Fuel Prices, Currently Recalculating with Pertamina
JAKARTA - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, has revealed that there will be adjustments to the prices of non-subsidised fuels. However, Bahlil stated that the government is still conducting calculations before implementing the adjustments. “Regarding RON 92, 95, 98 fuels, including Pertamina Dex diesel, we will make adjustments after the calculations are complete,” Bahlil said at the State Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday evening (8/4/2026). Bahlil explained that the government is currently undertaking an exercise. He mentioned that they are calculating together with Pertamina and private sector parties. “But up to now, we are still calculating with business entities such as Pertamina and the private sector,” Bahlil added. It is known that the current prices of non-subsidised fuels in Indonesia still refer to the provisions of Pertamina Patra Niaga as of 1 March 2026. Pertamax is Rp12,300 per litre, Pertamax Green (RON 95) is Rp12,900, and Pertamax Turbo is Rp13,100 per litre. For subsidised fuels, Pertalite is Rp10,000 per litre and diesel is Rp6,800 per litre.
