Jakarta (ANTARA) – Coordinating Minister for Downstreaming and Energy Transition Bahlil Lahadalia said disruptions to fuel distribution in Bali and East Java, including in Bangkalan and Sampang, had been resolved.

“I have just received a report that the situation has been addressed through the supplies Pertamina has delivered there in East Java,” Bahlil said at a press statement at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Monday.

Bahlil explained that the earlier fuel supply problem in Bali was caused by a vessel carrying fuel from Java arriving late. The government, Pertamina, local government officials and security forces coordinated to deal with the issue.

“The problem was that a vessel from Java was late arriving in Bali with supplies. But the situation has now been addressed, with assistance from the governor, the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum—in this case the governor and police chief—and the military. Pertamina has also taken action,” he said.

Bahlil said Bali’s fuel reserves had increased to 11–12 days. He asked that they be raised to 15 days within the next week, in line with the national standard.

“As of today, Bali’s reserves have been increased to 11 to 12 days, and I have asked that they reach 15 days within the next week,” Bahlil said.

Regarding supply disruptions in Bangkalan and Sampang in East Java, Bahlil said the issue concerned distribution, which is Pertamina’s responsibility.

“Distribution. Our national reserves are at 16 to 18 days,” Bahlil said in response to a journalist’s question about the cause of the supply disruptions in those areas.

Bahlil also said national Pertalite reserves stood at around 16–18 days, while stocks of RON 92, RON 95, RON 98 fuels and diesel each covered more than 20 days.
