Bahlil reminds all Golkar cadres to maintain party unity
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Golkar Party General Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia views political dynamics within the party as normal and stresses that differences in leadership choices must not result in splits. Bahlil also emphasised the importance of internal solidarity and avoiding practices of dismissing members within the party. “Do not let differences in support lead to cadres being sidelined. We are one big Golkar family,” Bahlil said in his statement in Jakarta on Monday. This was conveyed by Bahlil while opening the VI Regional Deliberation (Musda) of the Golkar Party in North Maluku Province (Malut), which took place in Ternate. The man born in Banda, Central Maluku, also stated that the Musda is not merely a routine agenda but a crucial momentum for evaluation and consolidating the party’s strength. “From this forum, ideas, strategies, and leadership capable of addressing contemporary challenges will emerge,” said Bahlil, who also serves as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). Bahlil emphasised that as a major party, Golkar must continue to provide real solutions for the public, from creating jobs to improving welfare in the regions. “Throughout its history, the Golkar Party is not owned by a particular group or family, but belongs to all Indonesians who love this homeland. Therefore, Golkar’s politics is politics for welfare with the doctrine of work and productivity,” Bahlil stated. At the Musda forum, Alien Mus was re-elected as Chairman of the North Maluku Golkar DPD by acclamation. In response to the trust, Alien Mus expressed his highest appreciation to Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia and the DPP entourage who attended directly in Ternate, including Secretary General Muhammad Sarmuji, General Treasurer Sari Yuliati, Deputy Chairman Wihaji, and Deputy Treasurer Dyah Roro Esti. According to him, the presence of Chairman Bahlil is a great motivation for all cadres in the region. “This Musda is a means to strengthen solidarity and formulate strategic steps, especially in facing future political challenges,” said Alien Mus. Alien also invited all North Maluku beringin cadres to leave behind choice differences that occurred during the deliberation and reunite to build the party.
