JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia inaugurated 19 high-ranking Pratama officials within the Ministry of ESDM today, Wednesday (6/5/2026).

The most extensive overhaul of high-ranking officials occurred in the Directorate General of New Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (Ditjen EBTKE) and the Directorate General of Minerals and Coal (Minerba).

Bahlil stated that the official reshuffle is part of the reorganisation and revitalisation within the ministry, as well as to form a team formulation that works more quickly.

“Because the targets from the President are very large for us. So, we are accelerating by making changes and rolling them out in the ministry,” he said when met after the inauguration at the Ministry of ESDM, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/5/2026).

  7. Priatin Hadi Wijaya becomes Director of Geothermal Energy in the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (EBTKE)

  8. Noor Arifin Muhammad becomes Director of Bioenergy in the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (EBTKE)
