Bahlil Meets Prabowo at the Palace: What Will They Discuss?

President Prabowo Subianto has called Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia to the Palace this afternoon. What will the two discuss?

detikcom observations on Thursday (15/4/2026) showed Bahlil arriving at the Presidential Palace complex at 14:52 WIB. Bahlil arrived accompanied by his expert staff member, Michael Wattimena.

Bahlil has not yet explained what will be discussed with Prabowo. He said he would provide an explanation after meeting with Prabowo.

“I’ll have the meeting first with the gentleman, then when I return, I’ll report,” he stated.

It is known that Bahlil was part of the delegation accompanying Prabowo when meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in Moscow on Monday (13/4). The five-hour meeting resulted in several agreements, including cooperation in the energy sector.

The two countries agreed on several key points of strategic cooperation, particularly in the energy and mineral resources sector, which is a long-term priority for both nations.

“Several points were agreed upon, including long-term cooperation in the energy and mineral resources sector, encompassing oil and gas energy security and downstreaming,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya in a written statement on Tuesday (14/4).
