Bahlil Emphasises Party Solidarity at Golkar North Sulawesi Regional Congress

Golkar Party must become increasingly cohesive and must not splinter. Whoever is elected must be able to embrace all parties.

Manado (ANTARA) - Chairman of the Central Executive Board of Golkar Party Bahlil Lahadalia requested that the XI Regional Congress (Musda) of Golkar Party in North Sulawesi (Sulut) serve as a momentum to strengthen party solidarity and determine the direction of future leadership.

“Golkar Party moving forward must become increasingly cohesive and must not splinter. Whoever is elected must be able to embrace all parties,” said Bahlil when opening the XI Musda of Golkar Sulut in Manado on Saturday.

He emphasised that the regional congress is not merely a routine organisational agenda, but must produce strategic decisions for the party’s progress.

According to him, North Sulawesi has an important contribution in producing quality human resources, including for other regions in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the XI Musda Committee of Golkar Sulut, Michaela Elsiana Paruntu, said that the implementation of the regional congress has been prepared meticulously with support from various parties.

“We hope this regional congress runs smoothly and produces the best decisions for Golkar Party,” she stated.

She said that until the end of her term, she is still trusted to lead the North Sulawesi Golkar Regional Leadership Council (DPD) and hopes the regional congress can give birth to leaders capable of advancing the party further.

“This is a great mandate that must be safeguarded with full responsibility,” she said.
