Bahlil Confirms Subsidised Fuel Prices Will Not Rise Until Eid al-Fitr; Here Is the Latest Price List
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has confirmed that subsidised fuel prices will not rise until Idulfitri 1447 H or Lebaran 2026, even though world crude oil prices are potentially volatile due to geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East. Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia emphasised that the public need not worry about potential increases in subsidised fuel prices in the near term. βFor subsidised fuel prices, I can assure you that until the holiday there will be no increases whatsoever. Even if oil prices rise due to the conflict involving Israel, the United States, and Iran,β Bahlil told the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, quoted by Kompas.com on Wednesday (4/3/2026). Meanwhile, for non-subsidised fuel, price adjustments will continue to follow the market mechanism as regulated in the Minister of ESDM Regulation Number 11 of 2022.
