Bahlil Claims Indonesia Has Overcome Fuel Crisis, National Stocks Secure Above 20 Days

JAKARTA - The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, claims that Indonesia has overcome the fuel oil (BBM) supply crisis caused by the Middle East war. This confidence is supported by the maintained national fuel supply amid distribution disruptions and global oil price increases. “So actually, I want to convey that the critical period for us regarding global dynamics for BBM, alhamdulillah, we have passed,” Bahlil stated at the Ministry of ESDM in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026). The LPG stock is also above 10 days. “The national stock remains at the minimum threshold above 20 days for all, our LPG is above 10 days,” he emphasised. Although the energy stock is stated to be in a safe condition, Bahlil still asks the public to be wise in using BBM and LPG energy, considering the current global conditions are still turbulent.
