Bahana TCW Investment Manager Reviews List of High-Concentration Ownership Stocks
PT Bahana TCW Investment Management is currently reviewing the publication of a list of stocks with significant ownership concentration in the market. This step is taken as part of a strategy to gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics of the Indonesian capital market. Quoted from Investasi, the investment management company views transparency of information as a crucial element in investment decision-making.
Several stocks included in the list are PT Lima Dua Lima Tiga Tbk (LUCY) with a concentration of 95.47%, PT Samator Indo Gas Tbk (AGII) reaching 97.75%, PT Satria Mega Kencana Tbk (SOTS) at 98.35%, and PT Ifishdeco Tbk (IFSH) with a concentration of up to 99.77%.
In addition, there are PT Panca Anugrah Wisesa Tbk (MGLV) with 95.94%, PT Rockfields Properti Indonesia Tbk (ROCK) at 99.85%, PT Abadi Lestari Indonesia Tbk (RLCO) at 95.35%, PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA) at 95.76%, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) at 97.31%.
The President Director and Marketing Director of Bahana TCW, Danica Adhitama, on Wednesday (8/4) emphasised, “Transparency of information is very important for decision-making in the investment world.” She added that the publication of this list is a positive step for the development of the capital market.
Nevertheless, Bahana TCW remains cautious regarding its mutual fund exposure to these high-concentration stocks. The company has not detailed the mutual fund portfolios that may be affected.
Bahana TCW’s management stated the need for further study on the calculation methods used to determine the list. They are awaiting guidance and clarity from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) before making portfolio adjustments or further investment decisions. To date, they have chosen to delay strategic steps until there is official clarity from the regulator.
Amid these conditions, the global stock market shows positive movement. The S&P 500 index recorded a four-day consecutive rise, with the Dow Jones closing up 0.36%, S&P 500 up 0.45%, and Nasdaq Composite up 0.54%.
