Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa officially inaugurated 156 officials within the Badung Regency Government, including filling the positions of three new district chiefs. The inauguration ceremony, held at the Kertha Gosana Hall, Puspem Badung, on Wednesday (24/6), encompassed High Leadership Officials, Administrators, Supervisors, and Functional Officials. “This inauguration is an important part of organisational refreshment and career development for state civil servants within the Badung Regency Government. We are moving quickly to place the best cadres to strengthen the bureaucratic institution going forward,” said Adi Arnawa after the ceremony. The three new district chiefs are North Kuta District Chief I Nyoman Tirtayasa, who previously served as Head of the North Kuta Regional Tax Technical Implementation Unit at the Badung Regional Revenue Agency; Kuta District Chief I Made Agus Suantara, who was previously the Kuta District Secretary; and South Kuta District Chief I Kadek Laksana, who previously served as Kedonganan Village Chief. The Regent also inaugurated Dewa Ngurah Bhayudewa as Head of the Badung Fire and Rescue Service, following the retirement of the previous official. Ngurah Bhayudewa previously served as Kuta District Chief. Only the Abiansemal District Chief position remains vacant after its previous official was promoted to Head of the Badung National Unity and Politics Agency, and has not yet been filled definitively as the administrative process is still ongoing. Additionally, 31 administrator officials, 75 supervisory officials, and 49 functional officials were also inaugurated. “This mutation and inauguration of positions is a normal occurrence within an organisation to strengthen the institution and foster the careers of civil servants. We are also preparing future leader cadres through objective selection based on talent management,” said Adi Arnawa. Adi stressed that the regional government is currently focused on improving strategic infrastructure to support quality and sustainable tourism. A number of key issues such as traffic congestion, waste management, security, public services, and budget efficiency are priorities that must be resolved. “Future bureaucratic challenges will be increasingly heavy with the current rapid technological development. All apparatus must be able to provide public services that are fast, transparent, professional, and give birth to new innovations,” said Adi Arnawa. He requested all levels of the bureaucracy to align their vision, synergise, and move together to ensure the success of the regional government’s policy direction. The newly inaugurated officials were also reminded to maintain integrity and build a teamwork culture oriented towards tangible results. “Show your best performance, discipline, responsibility, and capability so that you prove worthy of holding this position. We are optimistic that this organisational strengthening will accelerate development towards a Badung that is advanced, prosperous, and competitive,” said Adi Arnawa. Meanwhile, Head of the Badung Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency I Wayan Putra Yadnya explained that this reshuffle is part of the implementation of civil servant talent management. This step was taken to strengthen the effectiveness of governance and improve the quality of service to the wider community.
