Badung Regency Receives Two Organic Waste Shredders from The Apurva Kempinski

The Badung Regency Government has received a donation of two organic waste shredding machines from The Apurva Kempinski Bali to process household waste into compost. The initiative aims to reduce the volume of waste sent to final disposal sites while promoting community-level waste management.

"Thank you to The Apurva Kempinski for this tangible support. This assistance is very beneficial for encouraging waste management at the community level, transforming waste into a blessing, and maintaining the beauty and comfort of Badung that we are proud of," said Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa at the Office of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency in Badung on Wednesday (22/7/2026).

The aid was handed over directly by the management of The Apurva Kempinski to the Badung Regency Government. The event was also witnessed by the Assistant for Economy and Development, the Inspector, and heads of relevant regional apparatus organisations within the Badung Regency Government.

"We hope this positive synergy will continue and inspire other businesses to contribute. The role of the private sector is greatly needed to jointly address the challenges of waste management, which is now a development priority," added Adi Arnawa.

The two organic waste shredders are a form of Corporate Social Responsibility from The Apurva Kempinski, reflecting the hospitality industry’s commitment to environmental sustainability. The hotel’s management stated that the donation is part of their operational commitment to preserving the environment and contributing to community welfare. The subsequent distribution and operation of the shredders will be fully managed by the Badung Regency Government for placement in areas requiring urgent waste processing.
