The Badung Regency Government is providing 15 buses for free mudik transport for residents wishing to return home to East Java. The convoy dispatch is scheduled to take place at the grounds of Giri Nata Mandala Cultural Hall, Badung Government Centre, on Saturday 14 March 2026 at 15:00 Wita.

“There are 15 buses, 10 buses provided by Badung Regency Government and 5 buses from corporate social responsibility. The total number of participants heading home tomorrow is 625 people,” said Acting Head of National Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol) Badung, Ni Made Umi Larasaty, on Friday 13 March 2026.

All vehicles have undergone roadworthiness inspection or ramp check by Badung Transportation Department (Dishub). This measure is implemented to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during their journey home.

The organising committee is still coordinating regarding which official will formally send off the departure. Registered residents are expected to gather at the location before departure time.

“We have not yet received confirmation about who will formally see them off. Tomorrow at the Cultural Hall grounds at 3 pm,” explained Umi Larasaty.

Badung Transportation Department has also ensured technical readiness of the fleet for routes to Surabaya and Probolinggo. Comprehensive inspection is being carried out to ensure passenger safety remains the top priority during this Eid season.

“We have already conducted ramp checks, both administratively and technically, for buses that will depart. Therefore, these buses are roadworthy and safety and security can be maximised so that passengers arrive home safely,” said Acting Head of Badung Transportation Department, I Made Gede Wiryantara Adi Susandi.
