The Badung Regency Government has announced a budget surplus of IDR 806.5 billion for the 2025 fiscal year, reversing an initial projection of a IDR 1.63 trillion deficit. Bupati I Wayan Adi Arnawa revealed that the surplus resulted from total regional revenue realisation of IDR 9.1 trillion, or 81.13 percent of the target, against total expenditure of IDR 8.3 trillion. Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) contributed IDR 8.06 trillion, primarily from regional taxes, while transfer revenues added IDR 1.04 trillion. On the expenditure side, operational spending absorbed IDR 4.86 trillion and capital expenditure reached IDR 2.08 trillion. The resulting Budget Surplus (SILPA) of IDR 1.19 trillion is held across various accounts, including IDR 1.14 trillion in the regional treasury. Bupati Adi Arnawa also noted that the 2025 financial report, prepared under an accrual-based accounting system, received an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), marking the 14th such opinion overall and the 12th consecutive since 2014.
