Badung Regency Government to Inaugurate Officials Soon, Awaiting BKN Regulation
The Badung Regency Government is ready to inaugurate new officials to fill a number of strategic positions. The inauguration is now only waiting for the technical consideration from the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) to be issued after the entire verification process at the central level was declared complete.
“The verification process at the BKN is finished. Hopefully, the technical consideration will be issued tomorrow,” said the Head of the Badung Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), I Wayan Putra Yadnya, on Monday (22/6/2026).
The regional personnel authority confirmed that the inauguration stages will commence immediately once the official approval letter from Jakarta is received by the regional government’s legal team. This swift action is taken so that the wheels of the regional apparatus organisations (OPD) can immediately accelerate without administrative obstacles.
“Verification by the Central BKN was completed earlier (Tuesday, ed). Next, we are just waiting for the technical consideration. Once that is issued, the inauguration will be carried out immediately,” stressed Putra Yadnya.
Personnel management emphasised that the entire series of transfers and promotions has been conducted in accordance with regulations and statutory provisions. This legal certainty makes the government optimistic that the filling of positions can be realised soon without future legality issues.
“With the immediate filling of vacant positions, it is hoped that the performance of OPDs within the Badung Regency Government can run more optimally and support the acceleration of development programme implementation and services to the community,” said the former Head of the Badung Regional Research and Innovation Agency (Brida).
The vacancies in a number of Badung Regency Government agencies occurred as a result of the wave of transfers and promotions held in the previous period. This condition left vacancies in the structural positions below, ranging from agency secretary, division head, to sub-district head positions left by former officials who were promoted to become agency heads.
