Badung (ANTARA) – A group of artists from Badung Regency, Bali, performed the Kecak dance as part of the 10th Colours of Cultures Festival (CoCF) at Fatahillah Park in Jakarta’s Old Town district.

“The presence of our artists at a festival themed ‘A Memento from the Archipelago’ is proof of the widespread recognition of the richness of regional arts,” Badung Cultural Ambassador Rasniathi Adi Arnawa said in a statement received in Mangupura on Sunday.

She explained that the Kecak dance was not merely an ordinary art performance, but the living breath of Bali’s ancestral culture.

“Through this event, we are not only showcasing the aesthetic beauty of Balinese art, but also conveying a message of the archipelago’s diversity and unity,” she said.

She added that Badung would continue working to strengthen its positive image as a world-class tourism destination with a strong cultural outlook.

“We are also proud of the outstanding performance by Badung’s young artists on the main stage at CoCF 2026. We hope our presence at this event will strengthen Badung’s cultural position on the national stage,” she said.

CoCF is an annual festival resulting from a strategic collaboration between IndonesiaTIC and FORKAPPSI, with support from the Ministry of Tourism, state-owned and regional-owned enterprises, and various communities of culture enthusiasts.

In addition to performances, the festival features interactive art installations, multisensory experiences, exhibitions of regional crafts and souvenirs, and traditional food showcases from across Indonesia and overseas.
