Bad News: 3,601 Part-Time Contract Government Employees in West Lombok Will Not Receive Eid al-Fitr Holiday Allowance 2026
A total of 3,601 part-time Contract Government Employees (PPPK) in West Lombok Regency will not receive the Eid al-Fitr Holiday Allowance (THR) in 2026. The decision was attributed to limited regional financial capacity.
“They will not receive the allowance because it depends on the regional financial capacity. It could be granted, but it depends on the regional fiscal capability,” explained Baiq Mustika Dwi Adni, Head of the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKDPSDM) of West Lombok Regency Government, on Tuesday (10 March 2026).
Mustika expressed hope that the thousands of part-time PPPK employees would understand the constrained financial situation of West Lombok Regency Government. One contributing factor is budget cuts from the central government.
Regarding full-time PPPK employees, Mustika stated she could not yet confirm whether they would receive the 2026 THR. Her office is still coordinating with the Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD).
“As for full-time PPPK employees, I cannot yet confirm. But there is still no budgeting coordination with BPKAD,” she said.
Meanwhile, Mustika noted that Civil Servants (PNS) under West Lombok Regency Government have also not yet received THR from the central government. “The PNS THR itself has not been received yet, so this is the situation,” she stated.
West Lombok Regent Lalu Ahmad Zaini said he was unaware of the policy concerning part-time PPPK employees not receiving the Eid al-Fitr allowance this year. He assured that the decision had gone through careful deliberation in accordance with West Lombok Regency Government’s financial capacity.
“I was not aware of this issue. However, it must have gone through careful consideration. The point is that everything budgeted will certainly be disbursed,” said Zaini.
