Baby Allegedly Abandoned by Older Sibling in Pasar Minggu, Residents Say Many Want to Adopt
An infant girl found in a nasi uduk cart in a narrow alley on Jalan Pejaten Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, has drawn widespread interest from people wishing to adopt her. The baby was discovered by Marlinah (49), the resident who found her, and the chair of RW 2 Pejaten Barat, who has also been contacted by others, including the local community leader. ‘Apparently many want to adopt. There are residents here; the RW chief wants to adopt as well — he’s messaged me, ’Ma’am if you don’t want her, I’ll take her’,’
