652 new soldiers inducted

SEMARANG: Indonesian Military (TNI) chief Gen. Endriartono
Sutarto inducted into the military 652 new graduates from the
Indonesian Military Academy's basic training program here on
Wednesday.

The best graduates were Muhammad Arifianto from the Army,
Abdul Gofur (Navy) and Rachmad Syaputro (Air Force).

The graduates had finished their 13 weeks of basic military
training at the academy in Magelang district, Central Java
province.

Endriartono said they formed part of the military's
regeneration process that would turn them into professional
soldiers. --Antara
