Azko Operator Targets Opening 30 New Stores This Year
Retail company PT Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (AHI) Tbk is targeting the opening of 25 to 30 new AZKO outlets in Indonesia this year. Director of Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia, Gregory S. Widjaja, stated that the new store openings will be focused on second- and third-tier cities.
In addition, the company is also targeting the opening of 40 to 50 NEKA stores in various regions across Indonesia. “We will also continue to introduce innovative and relevant products, such as smart home and smart kitchen categories, and continue the rejuvenation programme for existing stores, such as at AZKO Living World Alam Sutera, AZKO Kelapa Gading, AZKO Pondok Indah Mall 1, and AZKO Living Plaza Bintaro, to enhance the shopping experience,” said Gregory in an official statement on Friday, 10 April 2026.
In line with this expansion, AHI is targeting sales growth in the mid-to-high single-digit range in 2026. This growth will be supported by a capital expenditure allocation of Rp 400–450 billion, which will be focused on expansion and strengthening operational infrastructure.
Throughout 2025, AHI has opened 27 new AZKO stores, consisting of 13 stores outside Java Island and 12 stores on Java Island. Some new regions reached by AZKO include Palu, Pematang Siantar, Palangka Raya, Bukittinggi, Kolaka, Abepura, and Sorong. By the end of 2025, AHI operates 265 AZKO stores spread across 90 cities in Indonesia, consisting of 177 stores on Java Island and 88 stores outside Java Island.
In addition, AHI has also opened 10 NEKA stores throughout 2025, located in the Jabodetabek area, Serang, and Pandeglang. “Going forward, we will continue to drive expansion, innovation, and strengthening of business capabilities to ensure AHI remains adaptive and able to respond to the evolving dynamics of market needs,” said Gregory.
