Ayu might face 3-month sentence

A public prosecutor Saturday demanded that the South Jakarta
district court sentence actress Ayu Ashari and her husband to
three months imprisonment each for assaulting a costume designer.

Prosecutor E.M. Simanjuntak told the court that evidence
proved that Ayu and her husband, Wisnu Djodi Gondokusumo, both 25
years old, attacked Harri Gunawan in March 1992.

The alleged assault took place during the filming of the
television series entitled Rumahku Istanaku (My Home Is My
Castle) at Jl. Mandala II number 7, Menteng Dalam, Central
Jakarta.

Ayu reported to Wisnu that bystanders could see her semi-naked
body because the door to the changing room remained slightly ajar
after Harri had handed her some clothes.

Ayu accused Harri of deliberately leaving the door of the
changing room open.

The trial session was adjourned to next week. (11)
