AXA Mandiri Shares Ramadan Blessings with Orphans

PT AXA Mandiri Financial Services (AXA Mandiri) extended Ramadan blessings by distributing 100 school supplies packs and grocery bundles valued at Rp1 million. The donations were made for orphans at Panti Asuhan Nurul Iman and Yayasan Penyantunan Sosial (Yapensos). Symbolically, the assistance was handed over by AXA Mandiri during a Ramadan breaking-the-fast gathering with the orphans at AXA Mandiri’s head office in Jakarta. The activity aligns with the brand campaign Melangkah Pasti, through which AXA Mandiri reiterates its commitment to moving forward together with determination in supporting children’s health and education on a sustainable basis. ‘Through this activity, around 100 AXA Mandiri employees volunteered their time and effort to preparing meals and school provisions for the orphans,’ said Atria Rai, Chief Communications Officer of AXA Mandiri, in a formal statement. In addition, AXA Mandiri volunteers also shared financial literacy knowledge via interactive games such as Monopoly and Snakes and Ladders. AXA Mandiri recognises the importance of financial understanding from an early age to stride confidently towards a better future. In the same event, AXA Mandiri also handed over donations from employees to the two orphanages through the Muslim employee organisation Kalam. Previously, AXA Mandiri donated more than Rp250 million in underwriting surplus for 2024 to the National Amil Zakat Agency (Baznas). Baznas allocated the 2024 AXA Mandiri underwriting surplus to Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda in Bekasi for the construction and development of a library. (E-4)
