Awards for Prasart Thai

JAKARTA (JP): Prasart Thai restaurant, one of the restaurants
at the Radisson Hotel Jakarta, received silver and gold plates in
the recent Food Festival '95, sponsored by the city
administration and the American Express.

The restaurant got the silver plates for its third place in
the Best Service and Best Culinary contests, and the gold plate
for its second place in the overall category.

Head of the City Tourism Office Fauzi Bowo presented the
awards at the closing ceremony of the festival in mid-December,
Radisson's public relation agency, Nama Network Communications
said yesterday.

The general manager of Radisson Jakarta Alan Featherby, said
Radisson was very proud of Prasart Thai's achievement as the
restaurants was established only in September.

The platinum plate for the winner of Best Overall contest went
to Oasis restaurant and Forum restaurant, and silver went to
Victoria Steak House.

The Best Service contest winner was Oasis restaurant, which
got the platinum plate. Forum restaurant got the gold plate for
the runnerup, and Prasart Thai was at the third place with silver
plate.

The platinum plate for the Best Culinary contest went to Forum
restaurant, gold for Oasis and silver for to Prasart Thai. (sur)
