Avoid These Three Dates for the 2026 Return Flow

SEMARANG - The Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, has asked the public to maximise the Work from Anywhere (WFA) time that has been implemented by the government to ease traffic density during the Lebaran return flow. In addition, Dudy has also urged the public travelling to avoid the peak return flow predicted to occur on 24, 28, and 29 March 2026. “The public can maximise the WFA time implemented by the government on 25, 26, and 27 March 2026 to avoid vehicle build-up on the Trans-Java Toll Road,” he said. It is recorded that vehicles heading to Jakarta on 24 March 2026 are predicted to reach 285,000 vehicles. Therefore, at the discretion of the Police, a national one-way system will be implemented from KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 70 Cikampek Utama Toll Gate. Meanwhile, Dudy also reminded the public to prepare their journeys well before returning to their home cities. “Before travelling, I urge the public to check the time and routes for dynamic traffic engineering implemented by the Police. The public can use the Travoy application or through the Jasa Marga Call Centre,” he said.
