Aviation seminar planned

JAKARTA (JP): The Communication Forum of Garuda Indonesia
Pilots will organize a two-day seminar on civil aviation June 24
in conjunction with the Indonesia Air Show 1996.

Forum executives said that seminar participants will discuss
the latest developments and identify problems facing civil
aviation in Indonesia.

Pilots, air traffic controllers, meteorologists, aviation
companies, aircraft industrialists, airport management firms and
government officials will be among the participants.

The seminar will feature a number of local and foreign
speakers, including Director General of Air Transportation
Zainuddin Sikado, Director General of Tourism Andi Mappi Sammeng,
Vice President of IPTN's N-2130 Project Ilham Akbar Habibie, and
International Federation of Airline Pilots President Rob McInnis.
