Avian Brands Achieves A+ Rating, Enters Top 6% of Best Sustainability Reports Among Listed Public Companies in Indonesia
PT Avia Avian Tbk (Avian Brands) (IDX: AVIA) has recorded a positive achievement in sustainability reporting practices. The company’s Sustainability Report has achieved an A+ rating in the “2024 Sustainability Report Study of Indonesia Listed Companies” conducted by the Foundation for International Human Rights Reporting Standards (FIHRRST) in conjunction with Moores Rowland Indonesia (MRI).
This achievement places Avian Brands’ Sustainability Report among the 16 best reports (top 6%) out of a total of 263 public companies in Indonesia that were evaluated in the study. The A+ rating positions the sustainability report as one of the highest quality disclosure reports among public companies in Indonesia.
This assessment reflects the completeness of information provided, transparency of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, and alignment with national and international reporting standards. The assessment process was guided by various global reporting frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards) and sustainability reporting standards from the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation through IFRS S1 and S2. Additionally, the assessment also considered compliance with national regulations established by the Financial Services Authority through POJK 51/2017 as well as IDX ESG Metrics indicators.
In the study, FIHRRST and MRI highlighted the theme of “Strengthening Corporate Governance”, which addressed the implementation of Good Corporate Governance practices, anti-corruption policies and business ethics, respect for Human Rights in the value chain, and transparency in disclosing risks and opportunities related to climate change.
Operational Director and Development, Robert Christian Tanoko stated that this achievement represents recognition of the company’s efforts in consistently improving the quality of sustainability reporting. “The A+ rating is an appreciation of Avian Brands’ commitment to presenting transparent and accountable sustainability reports. In 2025, we are also launching Avian Brands Sustainability Strategy, a strategic initiative to create a better and more sustainable business future. This strategy is our step towards strengthening sustainability practices in company operations whilst providing long-term value for all stakeholders,” Tanoko said in a press release on Thursday, 12 March.
Through these various sustainability initiatives, the company continues to promote responsible business practices whilst strengthening its contribution to creating sustainable growth for the environment, society, and stakeholders.
