Avanza rental rates for Lebaran homecoming, package prices start at Rp 2 million

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Toyota Avanza remains a favourite for Lebaran homecoming travel, especially in Jakarta and its surroundings. The Avanza can carry up to seven passengers and is known for its rugged engine and relatively efficient fuel consumption for a 1,500 cc class. This combination makes it a constant top pick for rental during the mudik season. Unlike ordinary days when daily rates are common, during Lebaran most rental companies implement a package system for fixed periods, typically 7 or 10 days. ‘So the rental price for Lebaran and ordinary days differ,’ said Septian Wulandari, owner of Wulan Rent Car (WRC) in Depok, West Java, to Kompas.com (3/3/2026). ‘For ordinary days we can rent per day, but for Lebaran we provide 7-day and 10-day packages.’ The rates apply to Toyota Avanzas built in 2017–2018, both manual and automatic transmissions. The price increase is deemed reasonable given the surge in demand ahead of Lebaran.

Meanwhile, Alva Rent Car in Bekasi also offers Avanza rental packages for various destinations. For the Jakarta area, the All In package (car + driver + fuel + toll + parking) with 12-hour duration is Rp 2,550,000 (3 days), Rp 4,000,000 (5 days), and Rp 5,250,000 (7 days). For Bandung destinations it’s Rp 2,400,000 (3 days), Rp 3,500,000 (5 days), and Rp 4,550,000 (7 days). For longer trips to Semarang and Yogyakarta, the 5-day package is Rp 4,950,000 and the 7-day package Rp 5,950,000.
