Autothermix Technology Emerges as Waste Management Option in Bandung

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – Officials conducted a trial of waste processing using a prototype waste processing machine featuring Autothermix technology from PT Tohaan Renewable Energy Engineering on Jalan Jakarta in Bandung City, Thursday (7/5/2026). The Bandung City Government is currently assessing alternative waste processing technology based on Autothermix as one of the supporting options for waste management in Bandung City. The developed Autothermix technology is a waste processing system based on a thermal process with a minimal oxygen concept, differing from conventional incineration systems because it focuses more on the breakdown of waste materials through temperature and oxygen control.
