Automotive Tool Brand Tekiro Secures Guinness World Record

Automotive tool brand Tekiro has received recognition from Guinness World Records for organising the Tekiro Mechanic Competition 2026, which involved more than 89,000 students from 544 vocational high schools in Indonesia. Guinness World Records has certified the Tekiro Mechanic Competition 2026 as the largest automotive mechanic competition. “After a thorough review of the evidence submitted in accordance with official Guinness World Records guidelines, we confirm that the attempt has met all the requirements for this record category,” said Official Guinness World Records Adjudicator Tomomi Sekioka. “Congratulations to Tekiro and all parties involved on this achievement.” The company explained that through the mechanic competition, it not only aims to find champions but also seeks to test the technical abilities of participants in handling modern engine challenges according to recognised international standards. The annual Tekiro Mechanic Competition, held since 2022, has involved a total of approximately 252,000 students.
