Penajam Paser Utara (ANTARA) - The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is opening opportunities for the involvement of various professional elements in the development of Indonesia’s new capital in parts of Penajam Paser Utara Regency and Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. “Collaboration and active involvement of professional elements in supporting the state capital’s development are very important,” said the Head of the OIKN, Basuki Hadimuljono, when asked about construction innovations in Sepaku, Penajam Paser Utara, on Thursday. One initiative, such as the development of the Ganesha Hub, he hopes will become a collaborative space to strengthen innovation, particularly in building the economic and technological sectors in the area. The Bandung Institute of Technology Alumni Association Regional Board of East Kalimantan (IA-ITB Kaltim) can strengthen inter-sectoral collaboration in supporting the development of IKN as a smart city. “Ganesha Hub as an innovation medium from ITB alumni in IKN,” he stated. Collaboration with professional elements, he said, can provide technical and strategic perspectives related to strengthening the development ecosystem in IKN. The General Chairman of IA-ITB, Agustin Peranginangin, stated that the development of the Ganesha Hub is a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship space. He assured the strategic role of ITB alumni to be present in a real way in IKN. The Central Board of IA-ITB is committed to overseeing the implementation of various collaborative programmes carried out together with the OIKN for innovation in the development of Indonesia’s new capital.
