Austrian suspect arrested

BOGOR (JP): Immigration officials have arrested an Austrian
national, Maunis Bauslama, who is wanted by Interpol for his
alleged involvement in a banking crime, an official said on
Monday.

Bogor immigration office head Amirul said officials identified
Bauslama, 49, while processing his temporary stay permit at a
local immigration office here.

Amirul said the arrest was made based on an Interpol notice,
which named Bauslama as a man wanted by the Austrian authorities,
along with the latter's picture and personal documents. (jun)
