Australian Drug Cartel Kingpin Arrested in Bali Revealed as Hells Angels Leader

Shocking facts have emerged regarding the arrest of Australian international fugitive Angelo Pandeli at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali. The individual, who was being hunted by transnational law enforcement, is not only suspected of involvement in international narcotics networks but is also identified as a key member of the outlaw motorcycle gang, the Hells Angels.

The Directorate of Narcotics Crimes of the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) revealed that Angelo is an influential figure in transnational organised crime that has long been a focus for international law enforcement agencies.

“Angelo Pandeli is a highly influential figure in Transnational Organised Crime and an important member of the outlaw motorcycle gang ‘Hells Angels’,” stated the Director of Narcotics Crimes of Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, on Friday, 12 June 2026.

The Hells Angels is known as one of the largest and most notorious outlaw motorcycle gangs in the world. Founded in California, USA, in 1948, the organisation is frequently linked to various organised crime activities by numerous global law enforcement authorities.

According to Eko, Angelo is also listed under an Interpol Blue Notice and is suspected of having links to several large-scale narcotics importation cases into Australia. “Angelo Pandeli was last seen on 9 October 2025, in Manly, Australia, with consistent actions to evade law enforcement,” he added.

Prior to his arrest in Bali, Australian authorities received information that Angelo was attempting to leave his country secretly for Cambodia or Vietnam using a passport suspected to have been obtained illegally.

“We coordinated with the Australian Federal Police and carried out the deportation of Angelo Pandeli to Australia, working alongside the Class I Immigration Office at Ngurah Rai, Bali,” he said.

Angelo was apprehended during a joint operation involving the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri, Immigration, and Customs on Sunday, 7 June 2026. The arrest took place after authorities received intelligence from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regarding Angelo’s presence, as he was suspected of attempting to flee using a private CAPA JET, flight number N917CJ, from Denpasar to Maputo, Mozambique.
