Australian Drug Cartel Kingpin Arrested in Bali Revealed as Hells Angels Leader

Jakarta, VIVA – Shocking facts have emerged following the arrest of Australian fugitive Angelo Pandeli at Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The figure, hunted by international law enforcement, is not only suspected of involvement in a global narcotics network but has also been identified as a key member of the outlaw motorcycle gang Hells Angels. The Directorate of Narcotics Crime at the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) revealed that Angelo is an influential figure in transnational organised crime, long targeted by international law enforcement. “Angelo Pandeli is a highly influential Transnational Organised Crime figure and an important member of the outlaw motorcycle gang ‘Hells Angels’,” stated Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso, Director of Narcotics Crime at Bareskrim Polri, on Friday, 12 June 2026. The Hells Angels are known as one of the world’s largest and most notorious outlaw motorcycle gangs. Founded in California, USA, in 1948, the organisation has frequently been linked to various organised criminal activities by law enforcement authorities worldwide. According to Eko, Angelo is also listed on Interpol’s Blue Notice and is suspected of involvement in several large-scale drug importation cases into Australia. “Angelo Pandeli was last seen on 9 October 2025 in Manly, Australia, taking actions consistent with evading law enforcement,” he said. Prior to his arrest in Bali, Australian authorities received information that Angelo was attempting to leave the country covertly for Cambodia or Vietnam using a passport believed to have been obtained illegally. “We coordinated with the Australian Federal Police and carried out the deportation of Angelo Pandeli to Australia. The deportation was conducted with the Class I Immigration Office for Ngurah Rai, Bali,” he added. Angelo was arrested in a joint operation involving the Bareskrim Narcotics Directorate, Immigration, and Customs on Sunday, 7 June 2026. The arrest was made after authorities received information from the Australian Federal Police (AFP) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regarding Angelo’s whereabouts, as he was suspected of attempting to flee using a CAPA Jet private aircraft with flight number N917CJ from Denpasar to Maputo, Mozambique.
