JAKARTA (JP): Australian Ambassador John McCarthy will brief
Australian citizens here on the current political and economic
situation in Indonesia.

The briefings will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday in the
theatrette of the Australian Embassy on Jl. HR Rasuna Said, South
Jakarta. All Australian citizens are invited to attend.

An announcement from the embassy said that due to restricted
space, Australian citizens are invited to attend briefings based
on the first letter of their surname.

Surnames beginning with A to D are invited to attend briefings
on Tuesday at 3 p.m., while E to K are urged to attend the 4 p.m.
briefing.

Surnames starting with L to R should attend briefings on
Wednesday at 8 a.m. while S to Z attend the 9 a.m. one. (mds)
