Australian camels grace local zoo

YOGYAKARTA: Perth Zoological Gardens has sent the Gembiraloka
Zoo here six one-humped Australian camels, six red kangaroos and
some veterinary surgical equipment, Antara reported.

The gift arrived on Sunday, along with two camels that will be
forwarded to the Surabaya Zoo, according to zoo director KMT
Tirtodiprodjo.

In return, the Gembiraloka Zoo is sending three pairs of
Komodo offspring.

The local zoo currently has around 2,000 animals of 200
